This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Widman is the forest carbon advisory brand of the Sustainability Division of WorldTel Corporation, a North Carolina corporation. WorldTel Corporation is the organization responsible for personal information collected through widman.com.

Information you give us
Two forms on this site collect personal information. Both are voluntary, and neither is required to read the site.
Forest Carbon Assessment
Collects your first and last name, email address, telephone number, company or organization, your role, and details about the land you are asking about: region, acreage, forest type, ownership structure, and any further notes you choose to write.
Enhanced Forest Carbon Projection
Collects your first and last name, email address, telephone number, company or organization, and information about the property being modelled. Depending on the methodology you select this may include the property name, country, state or province, acreage, forest or ecosystem type, management details, and, if you choose to provide them, GPS coordinates for the property. Location data is optional. The projection will run without it.
Carbon Credit Calculator
Collects nothing. Everything you enter stays in your browser and is never transmitted to us or stored. The optional reference field is a label for your own convenience on screen only.
Information collected automatically
Our web server keeps standard access logs, which record IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the time of the request. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
Our forms include two silent anti-spam checks: a hidden field that legitimate visitors never see, and a timestamp recording when the form finished loading. Neither identifies you. They exist to reject automated submissions.
This site runs no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels. We do not profile visitors, we do not build advertising audiences, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.
How we use your information
- To answer your enquiry and assess whether your land may be suitable for a forest carbon project.
- To generate and send the projection report you requested.
- To arrange a consultation if you ask for one.
- To contact you about forest carbon advisory services related to your enquiry.
- To meet our legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations.
You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
Who your information is shared with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as described here.
- Our customer relationship platform. Submissions are transmitted to MasterMind, WorldTel's customer relationship management system, which runs on the GoHighLevel and LeadConnector platform. Your contact details and the property information you supplied are stored there.
- WorldTel staff. A notification email is sent to the responsible team.
- Our booking system. If you submit the assessment form, you are taken to our scheduling page at link.worldtel.ai and your name, email address, and telephone number are carried across in the web address so you do not have to type them again. Because they travel in the address, those details may appear in your browser history and in routine server logs.
- Service providers. Our website host and email delivery provider process information on our behalf, under contract, only as needed to run the service.
- Where the law requires it. If we are compelled by valid legal process, or need to protect the rights or safety of any person.
Resources loaded from other companies
Some page assets load directly from external networks, which means those companies receive your IP address and basic browser information when a page loads. We do not control their handling of that data. They are:
- Google Fonts, for typefaces.
- Cloudflare cdnjs and jsDelivr, for the charting and PDF libraries used by the projection tool.
Your projection report
When you run a projection, we generate a PDF and email you a private link to it. That link is unguessable, cryptographically signed, and expires 90 days after it is issued. The file is automatically deleted from our server when it expires. If you want to keep the report, download it before then.
How long we keep information
Enquiry and contact records are kept in our customer relationship platform for as long as needed for the purpose they were given, and to meet legal and accounting requirements. Projection PDFs are deleted automatically after 90 days. Server access logs are retained for a short period on a rolling basis. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Cookies
This site sets only the functional cookies that WordPress itself requires. We set no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.
Where your information is processed
WorldTel Corporation is based in the United States and our service providers are located in the United States. If you are writing to us from Canada, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws differ from those in your own country.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- give you a copy of it;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop sending you marketing communications;
- withdraw a consent you previously gave.
Depending on where you live, these rights may be backed by law, including Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, United States state privacy laws, and the General Data Protection Regulation. We apply them to everyone regardless. Write to ops@worldtel.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will never charge you or treat you differently for asking.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national or state privacy regulator. In Canada that is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection, form submissions are verified against forgery, and report links are cryptographically signed. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information, financial account details, or government identification numbers through our forms.
Children
This site is intended for landowners, forestry professionals, and investors. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be announced on this page.
