These terms govern your use of widman.com. By using the site or submitting any form on it, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Who we are
Widman is the forest carbon advisory brand of the Sustainability Division of WorldTel Corporation, a North Carolina corporation. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean WorldTel Corporation.
The estimates on this site are illustrative
This is the most important thing on this page, so it comes first.
The Carbon Credit Calculator and the Enhanced Forest Carbon Projection are modelling tools. They apply published methodologies and generic assumptions to the figures you type in. They are not a valuation, not an appraisal, and not registry-grade measurement, reporting, or verification.
Any biomass figure, credit volume, price, revenue, or thirty-year projection these tools produce is an indicative estimate for orientation only. Real outcomes depend on site conditions, field measurement, the methodology finally applied, validation and verification by an accredited third party, registry decisions, project costs, and the price a buyer is willing to pay at the time credits are offered. Every one of those can move the result materially, in either direction.
We do not guarantee that any project will be approved, that credits will be issued, that issued credits will sell, or that they will sell at any particular price. Nothing on this site is a promise of a result.
No professional advice, no relationship formed
The content of this site is general information. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, forestry, or environmental advice, and you should not act on it without advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.
Using this site, running a tool, or submitting a form does not create an advisory, fiduciary, client, or contractual relationship between you and us. An engagement begins only under a separate written agreement signed by both parties.
Forward-looking statements

Information you give us

Reports
A projection report is prepared for the person who requested it, from the inputs supplied at that time. The private link we email expires 90 days after it is issued, after which the file is deleted from our servers. You may share a report internally or with your own advisers. Please do not publish it, present it as an independent valuation, or use it to solicit investment.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- submit false, misleading, or automated form entries;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers, or its data;
- scrape, copy, or systematically extract the site's content or tools;
- interfere with the site's operation or security measures;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
We may restrict or withdraw access to anyone who does.
Intellectual property
The content, design, text, graphics, calculators, and report formats on this site are owned by or licensed to WorldTel Corporation and protected by copyright and other laws. "Widman" and "CearioTrader" are brand names used by WorldTel Corporation. You may read, print, and share pages for your own non-commercial use. Anything beyond that needs our written permission.
Methodology names and registry names appearing on this site belong to their respective owners and are referenced for identification only. Their appearance does not imply any endorsement, certification, approval, accreditation, or partnership between those organizations and WorldTel Corporation.
Links to other sites
This site links to other websites, including WorldTel properties and our scheduling system. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of any site we link to, and a link is not an endorsement.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee it. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the site, including the calculators, at any time and without notice.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of laws rules. The courts of North Carolina have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your home country gives you a right to bring proceedings there. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The effective date at the top will change when we do, and the revised terms apply from the date they are posted.
